Not a Billboard was a show of monochromatic drawings and wall sculptures at J.Rinehart Gallery. The drawings in this show were made by gluing together pieces of paper covered with graphite lines. These drawings were assembled, cut up, and reassembled many times, allowing me to think with my hands. I created the cedar wood pieces in a similar way, stapling small pieces of cedar together, a process that was easy to adjust and alter. The result is a series that developed over 14 months and did not have a direct predetermined theme as the show title implies.
